Totally Confused

Dear Dallas,

I have this problem where there's 3 cute boys in my life, and I like them all. I have no clue if any of them would even come close to liking a dork like me, but it's not gonna stop me from crushing on them. So, do I keep crushing on them all, or choose just one or two? My other problem is I totally stink at flirting with boys. Do you have any tips? (How do I know when to flirt and when not to?) I also have this one great friend that doesn't like boys, so what if she catches me flirting. Should I tell her I like him, or just... do what? (It's her brother I like =P) Another one of the guys I like is really popular and some girls always hang around him. However, we're both in Drama Club and are good friends, but again, I have no clue on how to tell if he likes me or not. Anyways, thanks for any help you give me!

-Totally Confused...

Dear Totally Confused,

Well, let me get started by saying that you're in a situation that is very tough, but is experienced with almost every girl at one point in their life. With you liking three boys, more than likely one of them will like you. Also, you can't necessarily stop crushing on someone that you have a crush on. If you have a crush on someone, then you have a crush on someone. It's that simple. When it comes to flirting my mom always said to just be yourself and have confidence. I say to do the same, but make yourself stand out just a bit instead of hiding from the crowd. Also, don't flirt at a place like Church or in front of your teacher. That's always a bad idea. If you like your friends brother then it's best not to flirt with him around her. It's also not the best to tell her that you like him unless you can TOTALLY trust her and you guys are like sisters. If there is a popular guy that you like, you really have to make yourself stand out. If you do that the guy will probably notice you more. Also, the way you can tell if he likes you or not is by how much he looks at you, talks to you, and teases you (in a non mean way.) Hope that helps somewhat!

Sincerely,
Dallas
